An evening at Scruffy Murphy's starts off with excellent service, but be prepared for a swift closure at 12 am on Saturdays. The rush to close can dampen the good vibes of the night, and management could improve the handling of last orders. Despite this, many would return for the earlier pleasant experience, though some might not.

With four fridges filled with diverse canned options and 18 taps to choose from, there's something for every palate. Although the prices are on the higher side, ranging from 160-380 Baht, the unique ambiance and excellent beer selection make it worth a visit, especially for a casual date night or a night out with friends.
Visiting Foojohn Jazz Club was a highlight of my trip. The atmosphere was welcoming, and the variety of drinks impressive. Having visited Mulligans numerous times, I can vouch for its entertaining atmosphere with live bands in the evenings. The food is amazing, featuring a mix of Thai and Western cuisines, though a dessert menu would be a great addition. The service is top-notch, with attentive staff who enhance the dining experience. Celebrating my husband's birthday here was memorable, thanks to the live music and warm wishes from the band.
I had an amazing time at The Clubhouse, where the service truly stands out as some of the best I've experienced in Thailand. The staff goes above and beyond, even reminding you when happy hour is about to end. While the nachos weren't my favorite, the parma was excellent. The venue is perfect for watching any sports, and I found myself returning multiple times during my stay in Bangkok.

Green Room Bangkok is an absolute gem for live music lovers. Nestled in the heart of Sukhumvit on Soi 7/1 alley, this bar offers a fantastic atmosphere with talented bands playing every night. The owner, Saga, is passionate about his venue and ensures a welcoming environment with an incredible sound system. It's a must-visit spot for anyone in Bangkok, just a short walk from Nana BTS station.
During my visit, the welcoming staff and cozy vibes stood out. The live jazz performances added a soulful touch to the chic ambiance, making it an ideal spot for a relaxed evening. Discovering Widdershins is part of the adventure, as it's cleverly concealed behind a big library in the bustling heart of Chinatown. The bar boasts a chic, speakeasy vibe with top-notch service and well-crafted drinks. Each cocktail comes with a delightful surprise—a tarot card reading from the bartender, which you can take home as a keepsake. Though the space is tight, making it less suitable for rowdy groups, the exquisite cocktails and interactive service make it an experience worth savoring.
A newly opened spot in Talad Noi, Clutch beautifully blends the old and new. Besides being a hip bar, there's a coffee shop and trendy clothing stores on the ground floor, with spacious backyards for events.
