Wat Suthat Thep Wararam Ratchaworamahawihan
Wat Suthat Thep Wararam Ratchaworamahawihan is a beautiful must-visit temple in Bangkok, although there are some dress code rules such as no shorts allowed. The fees are reasonable, and the courtyard is stunning, making it worth a visit. I was unable to enter due to wearing shorts but will definitely return with proper attire next time.

Wat Phra Kaew
Sacred Gem of Bangkok
The Grand Palace and the Temple of Emerald Buddha are definitely worth a visit. The attention to detail in the construction of these temples is remarkable. I enjoyed exploring the prayer rooms and outdoor prayer stations. The cultural exchange with people from around the world was enriching. As a Christian, I appreciated the opportunity to respect and learn about another religion. Remember to dress modestly, wear socks as some areas prohibit shoes, and avoid getting a Buddha tattoo.

Wat Pho
Temple of the Reclining Buddha
Visiting the Temple of Reclining Buddha at 8AM allowed me to enjoy minimal crowds and capture great photos of this stunningly beautiful temple. The entry fee for foreigners is 300 THB, but it is definitely worth it for the 1-2 hours you can spend exploring the grounds and admiring the architecture. Pair your visit with a trip to the royal palace or Wat Arun for a full day of cultural exploration.

Wat Kanlayanamit Woramahawihan
Wat Kanlayanamit Woramahawihan, located at 372 Arun Amarin Road in Thon Buri, is a magnificent temple known for its unique Thai-Chinese architecture and superb riverfront location. The temple houses one of the largest Buddha images in Thailand, built by King Rama III, which is currently viewable inside an under-construction area. The temple features beautiful mural art inside and on the outdoor ceilings, and also offers convenient parking, though many tourists might find taking a boat to be a more enjoyable option.

Pak Khlong Talat (Flower Market)
For those visiting Chinatown, a short walk to the Flower Market is well worth it. Here, you'll find an impressive array of flowers and vegetables on sale. It's important to note that the flowers are often prepared as offerings, so refrain from smelling them unless you plan to buy. The market is open around the clock and is free to visit, making it a convenient and enriching addition to your tour.
