Exceptional Dim Sum and Impeccable Service at Hong Bao Central Embassy
I have tried several dim sum places in central Bangkok, and this one is definitely the best so far. The taste is great, the portion sizes are generous, and the service is always good. I have been here twice already and will definitely be returning for more delicious dim sum in the future.

The dumplings at Din Tai Fung, especially the xiao long bao, were incredible. However, the vegetarian dumplings were lacking in comparison. The plant-sides were amazing, but be prepared for a chilly room temperature that might require an extra layer of clothing.

Authentic Shanghai Xiao Long Bao and Delectable Chinese Dishes
Stumbled upon Shanghai Xiao Long Pao by accident and couldn't be happier! The xiao long bao here is the closest I've had to the authentic Shanghai flavor. Paired with ginger vinegar, it's a taste sensation. Plus, it's super affordable and beats many pricier spots in Bangkok.
Yumcha is a gem for authentic Hong Kong dishes. The chili oil wontons are a must-try. Affordable lunch sets available. Owner's HK influence shines through.
I ordered the tantan mee and found it to be quite delicious. The flavors were on point and left me satisfied. The xiao long bao, however, was a bit of a letdown. I was expecting more juiciness and flavor, especially with the flying xiao long bao on a crispy rice cracker. Overall, the food was decent but could use some improvement in the xiao long bao department. The staff was friendly and the restaurant was clean and organized, making for a pleasant dining experience.
