Canalside Buddha View Stop
This canal-side cafe seems built around one thing above all: the giant golden Buddha across the water. People come for the view, linger over coffee or tea, and sometimes pair the stop with a short boat transfer or photo detour. There is a small entrance fee that can be spent on drinks or cakes, and the old boat-building past still lingers in a modest museum corner.

Uruea Cafe · Reviews
This place has one of the better angles for photographing the big Buddha, and it’s pretty memorable for that alone. I liked that the 20 baht entry can go toward coffee or snacks, which makes the whole thing feel fair enough.
David (2026)A small entrance fee of 20 baht gets you in, and it can be used toward drinks or pastry if you’re coming in from the other side. The spot is especially pleasant in the evening when it’s cooler and the atmosphere feels relaxed.
Isaac Hill (2026)I stopped here for a coffee and ended up staying longer than planned because the canal view is so nice. You can watch the longboats go by and still get a clear look at the big golden Buddha, which is hard to beat.
Beat Klein (2026)If you’re coming from the temple side, just call the cafe and they’ll arrange a boat transfer for 50 baht round trip, so there’s no need for the entrance ticket. The view really is excellent, and the owner and staff were very kind.
