We stayed by the canal and ended up eating a couple meals there too, which was a very good call — the curries were great and the mango sticky rice was dangerously easy to keep ordering. Also, the little cats basically assigned themselves bodyguard duty.

The homemade breakfast was delicious and the coffee generous. The family running the place is so sweet and helpful. It's close to transportation but in a non-touristy area, perfect for unwinding. Only wish I could’ve stayed longer.

Only downside was some mosquitoes, but the ambiance made up for it.
