Capone's Pizza

After years and years of waiting, Capone’s Pizza finally brings a proper Chicago deep dish made by a Chicago native to Bangkok.

Not bad for Bangkok, especially if you’re craving something like Chicago deep dish. The sausage was a bit sparse compared to what I remember back in the States, and the pie arrived looking a bit uneven, but the buffalo wings on the side were pretty solid. Wish they’d warm it up more before serving though—ate it on site and it could’ve been hotter. Still, it’s one of the few places here that even tries to do that style of pizza, so I’m keeping it on my radar.

Capone's Pizza offers excellent NY slices that are large, tasty, and reasonably priced. While the food is a hit, the atmosphere leaves much to be desired with only a few stools available outside and no air conditioning or fans. It's definitely a spot to grab and go rather than dine in.

One of the rare spots in Bangkok serving Chicago-style deep dish pizza, Capone's Pizza might not be the best, but it's worth a try given the limited options. Their attempt at New York-style pizza is less convincing, lacking the classic giant, thin slices. With no parking or seating area, it's best to order and enjoy your meal elsewhere.
