Huahin Grand Hotel and Plaza

The hotel feels a bit dated but has its charm, especially with those sea views from higher floors. The cleaners did a great job, though the front desk staff barely acknowledged me. Still, it’s a solid mid-range choice if you want to be close to everything Hua Hin offers.

Stayed here for a few weeks while hunting for a condo, and I was pretty happy overall. Big rooms with ocean views and a quiet pool were highlights, though I wish they had more power sockets by the bed. Staff were friendly and helpful, which made the stay all the better.

If you’re after a budget-friendly spot with a spacious room and a decent pool, this place hits the mark. The gym might make you wince, but otherwise, it’s got good AC, some English TV channels, and is perfectly positioned for grabbing food nearby.

Checking in was a breeze and the rooms were surprisingly roomy and clean, with a solid Wi-Fi connection. The air conditioning could have been cooler, but that was a minor gripe compared to the easy walk to Market Village and the relaxing warm shower after a day out.
