Butsaba Garden Resort

7/1 Moo 2 - Tambon San Pa Yang

Reviews

Came here on a whim during a road trip and ended up really liking it. The pool is refreshing and has this unusual sea salted water thing going on, which was a neat surprise. The staff, especially the owners—a Swiss guy and his Thai wife—were super welcoming and genuinely seemed to care. The menu mixes Thai with some European dishes; I had a Penang moo curry that was surprisingly good. Rooms were spacious and clean, nothing fancy but comfortable enough for a night’s stay. If you’re passing through, definitely worth a stop.

Stopped by for lunch and was impressed by the lovely outdoor patio dining area. The Pad Thai was excellent, and the sleeping accommodations, swimming pool, and exercise room are very nice and reasonably priced.

Butsaba Garden Resort offers an excellent blend of Thai and European food, set in a pleasant garden area. The Swiss owner and his Thai wife add a special touch to the experience. A nice pool and fitness center are available for a small fee, making it a perfect stop on your way to Pai.

A very nice place to stay with lovely facilities and reasonable prices. The outdoor patio for dining and the swimming pool are particularly enjoyable.

This is such a lovely location away from the hustle and bustle of Chiang Mai, the surrounding countryside is stunning.
