DONKI Mall Thonglor

The mall has a nice Japanese vibe and plenty of interesting things to browse, especially if you like snacks and quirky souvenirs. I stumbled upon an older gentleman selling used books upstairs and ended up buying a Carl Hiaasen novel — felt good to read something in paper again. The food is decent but a bit on the pricey side, and sometimes the ready meals give off this faint plastic smell when you open them, which was a bit off-putting. It gets pretty crowded during peak hours too, so be prepared for checkout lines. If you’re Muslim, just a heads-up that the prayer room on the third floor doesn’t have an ablution area, so bring your own essentials. Parking is convenient underneath or it’s easy to get here by taxi since it’s right by the main road. Overall, a solid spot if you want authentic Japanese goods without leaving Bangkok.

Donki Mall in Thonglor is fantastic for late-night shopping, as it stays open until midnight. The free shuttle service from Phrom Phong and Ekkamai areas is super convenient. Although the prices are a bit high due to the imported Japanese goods, the food section is worth every penny. Don't miss the discounted food deals later in the night!

I absolutely love DONKI Mall Thonglor! It's like a Japanese food paradise with an amazing variety of items. The sushi trays, rice dishes, and mochis are always fresh and delicious. I especially enjoy visiting late in the afternoon to snag some great discounts on ready meals. Plus, the fact that they have tables inside where you can sit and enjoy your food is a huge bonus!

This mall is a great spot if you're feeling nostalgic for Japan. It's clean, less hectic, and has a chill vibe compared to other places in Bangkok. The wide array of Japanese products and food options make it a must-visit, especially if you want a taste of Japan while in Thailand.
