Height matters. Anyone who says otherwise has never watched Bangkok light up from 60 floors above the street with a drink in hand.
This list focuses on Bangkok’s highest rooftop bars, ranked by elevation and experience. These are the places where the view isn’t a bonus feature. It’s the entire point. Expect vertigo, skyline panoramas, and prices that quietly remind you how high you are.
This page is a curated selection from our complete rooftop bar guide, filtered specifically for altitude. No low-rise rooftops, no “almost tall” marketing tricks. Just genuine sky bars sitting at the top of Bangkok’s tallest buildings.
The Baiyoke Sky Deck is a must-visit for anyone looking to capture the beauty of Bangkok city at night. The stunning views of the modern buildings and dazzling lights are truly magical. While the ticket price may be a bit high, the experience and photo opportunities make it worth every penny. Plus, you get a free drink and a bowl of popcorn with your ticket!
The sunset view from the King Power Sky Walk is absolutely stunning! Watching the golden sunset light up the skyscrapers of Bangkok is a sight to behold. The 360° view of the city lights after dark is mesmerizing. I've been to similar observation decks around the world, and this one is definitely on par. Make sure to visit during the 6:00-7:00 pm slot for an unforgettable experience!
I had an unforgettable experience at Sky Beach Bangkok, located on the 78th floor, where the stunning views and friendly staff made it truly special. Arriving around 4pm to catch the sunset was a great tip, and spending a minimum of 2000 Thai baht on drinks or snacks secured a comfy spot in the reserved section. The staff were incredibly accommodating, even offering to take photos with our phones, which was a nice touch. The selection of cocktails, mocktails, and food was excellent, complementing the breathtaking view perfectly.
Flûte offers one of the best views of Bangkok, but be prepared for exorbitant drink prices. The staff tends to lead you to one bar, making it seem like the only option, and charges high prices with additional service fees. The drinks are costly and not of great quality, and the seating arrangements don’t offer the best views. Consider nearby options for better value.
Made famous from the Hangover 2, this bar is one of the highest in Bangkok and benefits with great views. There is no reservation policy, so arrive as close to opening (around 1700) as possible to secure the best spot on the cushions by the balconies.
Alfresco 64 offers an unforgettable experience with its breathtaking views and exceptional service. Celebrating our anniversary here was a delight; the staff surprised us with a beautiful cake and decorations, making us feel like VIPs. Every detail was attended to, including offering a toothpick for my cigar. While the prices are on the higher side, the experience and the little tour they offered afterward made it all worthwhile. Highly recommended for a special occasion.
Unforgettable Dining Experience with Stunning Views and Exceptional Service
The lamb loin was honestly the best I’ve ever had—cooked just right and super tender—and the view from the rooftop made it all feel pretty special. Service was friendly without being over the top, too.
The rooftop bar offers an awe-inspiring view of Bangkok's skyline at night. It's the perfect spot for a romantic evening or a fun night out with friends, thanks to its elegant yet laid-back vibe. The drinks are expertly crafted, and the attentive staff ensures a memorable visit.
Stunning City Views and Pricey Cocktails at CRU Champagne Bar
The view is absolutely gorgeous, and the Champagne cocktails are unique. Prices are on the higher side, with some drinks over THB1000, but the interesting mixes make it worthwhile. Great spot for a special night out!
Preeda's favorite spots around town: Sunset views here are stunning, and the live DJ sets a lively vibe. Cocktails are pricey but worth it for the special night out.
A must go if you're a chocolate lover like me. At the 57th floor of CentralwOrld you'll find Cocoa Xo with its grand view of Bangkok on the very comfortable chairs and couches.
I recently visited Nobu Bangkok at the Empire Building, and it was an extraordinary experience. Perched on the 58th floor, the panoramic views were stunning, complementing the exquisite dishes perfectly. Having dined at Nobu in London, I was thrilled to find the same exceptional quality and attention to detail. The fresh sashimi and creative fusion plates were all culinary masterpieces, making it a must-visit for food enthusiasts.
Le Du Kaan offers a delightful dining experience with a modern twist on Thai cuisine. Located on the 56th floor of The Empire Building in Sathon, the restaurant provides breathtaking views of Bangkok. Whether you're celebrating a special occasion or simply enjoying a night out, the ambiance is perfect, and the creatively crafted menu promises high-quality ingredients and flavors. It's a must-visit spot for those looking to enjoy a memorable evening.
With stunning views and beautiful decor, this rooftop bar is a fantastic place to relax with friends. The live band plays great pop and inter music, adding to the lively vibe. Although the menu is limited, the food is tasty, and the staff is nice. If you're looking for a place to capture beautiful moments, this bar is the perfect backdrop.
