Height matters. Anyone who says otherwise has never watched Bangkok light up from 60 floors above the street with a drink in hand.
This list focuses on Bangkok’s highest rooftop bars, ranked by elevation and experience. These are the places where the view isn’t a bonus feature. It’s the entire point. Expect vertigo, skyline panoramas, and prices that quietly remind you how high you are.
This page is a curated selection from our complete rooftop bar guide, filtered specifically for altitude. No low-rise rooftops, no “almost tall” marketing tricks. Just genuine sky bars sitting at the top of Bangkok’s tallest buildings.

Thrilling Sky Walk Experience in Bangkok
The best view in Bangkok can be found at the King Power Sky Walk, but be sure to arrange your visit in advance to avoid crowds. The sunset view is unbeatable, and you can even buy a ticket package that includes a drink. While the night view is also impressive, it can get quite crowded. Don't forget to check out the cafe, restaurant, and souvenir shop upstairs, but remember that big bags are not allowed upstairs.
A huge shoutout to Yui for providing exceptional service during our visit. Her friendly and attentive nature made us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. Her energy and smile created a welcoming atmosphere, enhancing our overall experience. We had such a great time, largely thanks to her, and we look forward to visiting again soon in hopes of seeing her.
Stopped by Flûte for a drink and got hooked on Junji’s Whisper—even though I’m usually not into alcohol. Plus, the staff was super friendly and even snapped a few pics for us with that killer view. Definitely a chill spot to unwind.

High-Elevation Mixed Experience
For a relaxing afternoon with panoramic views of the Chao Phraya River and the city lights, look no further. The service at the sky bar is top-notch, with bartenders who not only mix great cocktails but also show you around different parts of the bar. Avoid the higher-priced drinks and opt for beer to fully enjoy this million-dollar view.
Alfresco 64 offers an unforgettable experience with its breathtaking views and exceptional service. Celebrating our anniversary here was a delight; the staff surprised us with a beautiful cake and decorations, making us feel like VIPs. Every detail was attended to, including offering a toothpick for my cigar. While the prices are on the higher side, the experience and the little tour they offered afterward made it all worthwhile. Highly recommended for a special occasion.

Unforgettable Dining Experience with Stunning Views and Exceptional Service
The lamb loin was honestly the best I’ve ever had—cooked just right and super tender—and the view from the rooftop made it all feel pretty special. Service was friendly without being over the top, too.
The rooftop bar at Akara Sky Hanuman Bangkok is a must-visit for a fun and relaxing experience. The service is top-notch and the view is breathtaking. The traditional dance shows and unique interior design make it a memorable spot. The signature drinks are a bit pricey, but the overall experience is worth it. Don't miss out on this gem on the 61st floor.
Stunning views and exceptional service at Vertigo & Moon Bar
Vertigo is a must-visit for anyone looking for a unique dining experience with a view. The entry fee may seem steep, but the money goes towards your order. The staff, especially Air, Zin, Nat, and Aor, provided excellent service with a smile. The sunset view alone is worth the trip!
Stunning City Views and Pricey Cocktails at CRU Champagne Bar
Booked a table here for the sunset view, and it was worth it! The prices are steep for Thailand, but the cocktails are fun, and the staff, especially Lukman, are lovely. The edge tables have low seats and bushes blocking the view, but the high stalls offer a better vista. Free snacks are a quirky mix, but the atmosphere is lively with decent music.
Preeda's favorite spots around town: Sunset views here are stunning, and the live DJ sets a lively vibe. Cocktails are pricey but worth it for the special night out.
We had a blast exploring the chocolate cave and stuffing ourselves silly, plus John was awesome taking pics and chatting with us—just bring your wallet for the pricey drinks!
Our visit to Nobu Bangkok was delightful, echoing our great experience at Nobu in Dubai. The journey up to the 58th floor was swift, and though the entrance was a bit confusing, the service and food more than made up for it. My son particularly enjoyed the Black Cod, while I relished the yellowtail jalapeño and spinach salad with shrimp. The scallops with foie gras were exceptional, though the beef with red sauce was a bit strong for my taste. The attentive staff ensured a memorable dining experience.
We snagged a table just in time for sunset, and that view paired with the fresh, bold flavors made it a night to remember—plus, shoutout to the staff who were friendly without being pushy.
Stunning Views and Chic Dining at Bangkok's Rooftop Bistro
Incredible views, pricey drinks, but totally worth it. Tricky to find but staff are helpful. Ask them to snap a pic with the amazing view. Live Jazz after sunset. A must-visit spot in Bangkok for a special occasion or just a fancy night out.
My favorite spot in Bangkok is Invitation Only, with its lively atmosphere and live band performances. The food is excellent, especially the spaghetti with bacon. Though I couldn't find a Bailey's or milk-based cocktail, the friendly and patient servers more than make up for it. Their welcoming demeanor adds to the overall enjoyable experience.
