Piccolo Vicolo

This café was a random find while walking around the area, and it ended up being a pleasant stop. The plant-filled, wood-heavy decor gives it a calm, easygoing feel, and there are plenty of photo-friendly corners if that’s your thing. It was a comfortable place to sit for a while and just relax.

I went for the pesto chicken and cheese toastie with Thai tea, and it was a solid, filling meal for the money. The café has a cool mix of brutalist style and lots of plants, which somehow works really well. Sitting on the second floor was nice, though the third floor looked just as appealing.

We stopped by on a weekday morning and found the place calm and quiet, which was nice. The drinks and cakes were only okay for the price, but the atmosphere made up for it, especially with the mix of air-conditioned floors and the greener open-air levels upstairs.

A lovely vintage café in a renovated old building, with each floor giving off a slightly different mood. The dark wood, green touches, and old-school decor make it feel cozy without trying too hard, and the coffee plus pastries were genuinely good.
