I ended up at Nak-La Mookata pretty late one night and was glad it was still open since I’m definitely a night owl. The place was packed, so we took a number and waited maybe 20 minutes, which wasn’t too bad considering how popular it is. Ordering through the QR code was straightforward, and I loved that a little robot brought our food—felt like something out of the future. The broth was light and sweet, just how I like it, and there was a nice selection of free veggies and sauces to mix in. The meat portions were generous; the 399 baht set for two filled us right up without feeling overpriced. Staff were friendly even though the place was busy, which helped keep things relaxed. Only downside is that if your bill’s under 500 baht you can’t pay by card, but that didn’t bother me much. Overall, a solid spot for some tasty Thai-style barbecue with a fun twist.
