Climax is a great comeback for long-time visitors of Bangkok's nightlife scene. Located in its original spot at the Ambassador Hotel, it feels like stepping back in time with the same tables, live music, and vibrant atmosphere. Entry is 300 baht and includes a free drink, making it a worthwhile addition to your night out on Sukhumvit Soi 11.

My 5 favorite live music bars in Bangkok

Climax: The bar, which reopened in 2024, is officially called a nightclub although it is IMO primarily a live music bar. Nationally known stars of the Thai music scene also perform regularly. The other bars in the Hillary group also have live music every night.

Climax at the Ambassador Hotel is a fantastic spot for late-night fun. I visited around 2am on a Tuesday and, while it wasn't packed, the energetic staff, DJ, band, and dancers made the night thoroughly enjoyable. The place stays open until the early morning, making it perfect for night owls looking to extend their evening.
