Went for lunch and the fried rice really lived up to its reputation—simple but full of flavor. The place can get pretty busy so expect some waiting, especially if you’re there during peak hours. I ordered the handmade noodles with soya bean sauce and pork, and even though it took a while to arrive, they were definitely worth the wait. The noodle texture was spot on, chewy and fresh. Service was polite and efficient despite the crowd. If you like Northern Chinese food and aren’t in a rush, this spot is a solid bet. Just be aware that the dining area isn’t fancy—more about good food than atmosphere here.

Tong Lai Sun offers good quality food with a true taste of China. The prices are reasonable, and the place is always bustling with full tables. Highly recommended for an authentic Chinese dining experience.

This place serves authentic and delicious Chinese food at very reasonable prices. The handmade noodles have a perfect chewy texture. We enjoyed the Mapo Tofu, Potato Slices, Fried Dumplings, and Pork Soup Buns. The bun skins are on the thicker side, which I liked. The owners speak Chinese and Thai, and there are picture menus for English speakers. Best to come with a group to try more dishes.

Xiao long bao is the best. Mian noodle is also perfect.
