iSanook Resort & Suites Hua Hin

Our rooftop suite had an incredible private pool and a killer view, though the open-plan bathroom was a bit of a quirky design choice. While the room was quiet and fresh, some of the mechanics felt a little glitchy, like the hot water taking ages to kick in. It’s a solid, comfortable stay, but you definitely get the best bang for your buck with the standard rooms rather than the high-end villas.

We opted for the basic studio and it was honestly a steal at around $65 a night. It’s super clean, perfectly sized for a couple, and the cafeteria makes a mean cappuccino and breakfast sandwich if you aren't in the mood for the full buffet. The pool bar is a great spot to hang out, and overall, it’s just fantastic value for the money.

The service here is next-level, from the seamless shuttle service to the staff helping me coordinate my entire transit to the next island. I spent a few days working by the pool and the Wi-Fi never skipped a beat, which is a huge plus. It’s got a really chilled-out atmosphere and a gym that actually has all the right equipment.

This hotel is a total gem if you’re looking for a peaceful getaway that's still close enough to the action. The grounds are immaculate and the rooms have a sharp, modern feel that makes relaxing easy. I was especially impressed by the breakfast variety and the staff, who are so welcoming they actually remembered me from previous visits.
