Thai Jungle Curry

Authentic Thai Delights with a Spicy Twist

Gaeng Pa Sriyan offers an authentic Thai dining experience with a variety of intriguing local dishes, though the spiciness can be a challenge for some. The restaurant is praised for its delicious and reasonably priced food, with highlights including the eggplant salad with minced pork and the fried crab ball. While some dishes like the jungle curry and snake head curry received mixed reviews, the overall consensus is positive. The establishment caters mainly to locals, features an English menu, and maintains a clean environment.

Reviews Gaeng Pa Sriyan

Tried the aubergines with minced pork and rice, and it was just okay. There wasn't much meat, mostly aubergines, and the service was pretty indifferent. The menu is quite spicy, which isn't my preference, so I probably won't come back. Overall, a mediocre experience.

This local spot offers really tasty food with an English menu for convenience. The chicken green curry was excellent but very spicy, so be prepared! They have a variety of interesting local dishes beyond the usual tourist fare. It's a great place to experience authentic Thai cuisine.

I visited this restaurant with my English boyfriend, and we were both fascinated by the unique menu. We tried the wild boar jungle curry, which wasn't to our taste, but the eggplant salad with minced pork was a hit for me. The snake head curry was flavorful, though a bit too mushy for my liking. Their authentic Thai flavors are spot on, and the durian and coconut ice cream with sticky rice was a delightful finish.

Best place in Bangkok to get authentic Gaeng Pa (Jungle Curry). Extremely spicy and insanely delicious!
