Subwerk

I went alone and still had an amazing time from 10 p.m. until 3 a.m., which says enough really. The staff were friendly, the music was solid, and the atmosphere stayed fun the whole night. Even the bucket drinks helped make it a slightly chaotic but very good evening.

This is probably my favorite techno spot in Bangkok. The sets usually build up nicely as the night goes on, and after 1 a.m. it tends to get properly intense, which is exactly what I want. The crowd is into it, the staff are welcoming, and the whole place feels more underground than a lot of the other clubs around.

I keep coming back to Subwerk because the vibe is consistently strong. The DJs go hard, the room never feels overly packed, and it’s one of the few places where people actually seem focused on the music instead of just filming everything. The drinks are nothing special, but that’s not really why anyone is here.

Small and intimate, but the energy in here is huge. The crowd was great, the air-con was honestly a lifesaver, and Ghost Rider’s set on Saturday 13/06 was excellent from start to finish. He looked like he was having just as much fun as everyone else, which made the night even better.
