Scruffy Murphy's Irish Pub: It's an authentic ☘️ Irish pub with live music several days a week that broadcasts major sporting events on HD screens. There is indoor and outdoor seating and a pool table upstairs. It is the successor to the popular Victoria Pub. Scruffy's serves Western and Thai dishes. I like their Larb Moo Tod. I personally like the small outdoor patio.

The Sunday beef roast at Scruffy Murphy's is a hearty serving, perfect for sharing. While the beef was served at room temperature, the mashed potatoes were hot and the overall taste was good. It's a substantial meal, though perhaps not extraordinary, but satisfying nonetheless.

The rush to close can dampen the good vibes of the night, and management could improve the handling of last orders. Scruffy Murphy's Irish Pub is a delightful find in Bangkok, especially for those seeking an authentic Irish experience. Owned and run by Irish folks, it offers the best pint of Guinness outside of Ireland. The pub food is superb, with surprises like bacon and cabbage and a unique twist on Irish Stew with mash. Aleez, the bar manager with an Irish accent, adds a charming touch to the atmosphere, making it a highly recommended spot for a taste of Ireland.
