The view here really is something else—waking up to Wat Arun right across the river made my stay memorable. The breakfast was a highlight, with fresh fruit and decent choices whether you want something Thai or western. The rooftop bar is a nice bonus for sunset drinks, though the stairs up can be a bit of a workout since there’s no elevator. Rooms are comfortable but had a faint funky smell, maybe from the river? Staff were polite and helpful but seemed pretty busy, so it felt like they were juggling a lot. Overall, a quiet little spot away from Bangkok’s chaos that I’d stay at again for the atmosphere alone.

The location is perfect for exploring Wat Arun and nearby cafes, restaurants, and massage places. Some noise from the bar and restaurant, but it’s a gem if you want a quieter stay in Bangkok.
