Eagle Nest Bar

Showed up around 4pm to snag a spot upstairs and wasn’t disappointed. The view of Wat Arun glowing at sunset is something else. Drinks are definitely on the pricey side for Bangkok—three beers set me back 800 baht—but honestly, I didn’t mind paying a bit more for that backdrop. Service was friendly and quick despite the crowd, and when it started raining lightly, they even handed out umbrellas on the balcony which was a nice touch. Just a heads up, most visitors here seem to be tourists and the food I tried was okay but could use more seasoning. Still, it’s one of those places where you come more for the vibe and view than anything else.

The Eagle Nest Bar offers a breath-taking view of Wat Arun temple, making it the perfect spot to watch the sunset with friends. While the circular stairs may make you a bit dizzy, the atmosphere and scenery are worth it.

Awesome place! The bar is on the rooftop (no elevator) but worth the walk. Amazing view of Wat Arun.
