Minimalist bakery with long lines
This is a compact, design clean bakery where the pastry counter does a lot of the talking. Cinnamon rolls and cardamom buns appear alongside sourdough, banana bread, and a few more indulgent twists like raspberry pistachio or maple bacon pecan. Coffee comes smooth and well made, though sometimes after a wait. Seating is limited, so the place tends to feel busy, which seems to be part of the deal.

La Cabra Bakery · Reviews
We showed up around 8 a.m. on a Sunday and the line was already long, which says enough on its own. The wait took about 40 minutes just to order, and getting a table would have taken even longer, but the sourdough and banana bread made it easier to forgive the queue. The coffee was excellent, the space reminded me a lot of Copenhagen, and the parking validation at the Sitthivorakit Building was a nice practical bonus.
Suthep (2026)I mostly come here for the coffee, and it’s consistently very good. I haven’t managed to try much of the bread yet, mostly because the seating is limited and I usually just pop in for a takeaway. Still, it’s one of those spots I keep returning to because the quality never slips.
Joshua C. (2026)The place has that clean, minimal look down perfectly, and even the packaging feels oddly satisfying. I tried the raspberry pistachio seasonal bun and the maple bacon pecan roll, and both were genuinely impressive: one bright and creamy, the other sweet, salty, and dangerously easy to keep eating. The coffee was smooth and nicely presented too, so yes, I’m already thinking about going back for the cardamom bun.
Wanphen S. (2026)I’d been buying La Cabra’s beans for years, so finally trying the Bangkok bakery felt overdue. It was busy both times I went, but I still got seated after about 5–10 minutes, which was pretty manageable. The cinnamon roll, cardamom bun, cheese-and-tomato sourdough, and sourdough plate were all excellent, and the coffee was worth the extra wait.
