Hua Hin Hospital

Despite being a public hospital with long queues, I felt well cared for at the eye clinic. The friendly staff and even a little live music at the food market made the wait more bearable—definitely better than other public hospitals I’ve visited in Thailand.

I had a rough experience with some staff who seemed pretty disinterested, especially one doctor who was downright rude. Prices keep climbing, and the wait times drag on, so I’m thinking of switching to a private hospital for better service.

The hospital can be slow and crowded, but it’s a budget-friendly option if you don’t mind waiting around. Just bring some snacks or grab a coffee on-site to pass the time. It’s not fancy, but it gets the job done without breaking the bank.
