Why Gurulist is Expanding to Hua Hin
Hua Hin is one of Thailand’s most loved beach towns — especially for retirees, weekend travelers, golfers, digital nomads, and people looking for a more relaxed lifestyle near the sea. Over the last years, we noticed more and more Gurulist users searching for places in Hua Hin, not only Bangkok.
That’s why we decided to slowly expand gurulist.net with a dedicated Hua Hin section.
The idea stays the same:
We are not trying to become another giant directory with thousands of random listings. Gurulist is about curated and useful lists — places actually worth knowing. Coffee shops, restaurants, nightlife, villa projects, golf courses, shopping, interior designers, local services and hidden gems.
But building a curated guide takes time.
At the moment, we are still in the “collecting phase”. That means you may currently find places that are not yet perfect, not fully reviewed, or maybe not even important long-term. Right now the goal is simple: collect, organize, and build a strong foundation first.
Over time, the lists will become more refined:- better recommendations
- cleaner categories
- hidden gems
- more useful places
- fewer random listings
- more community input
Think of it as building a living guide step by step instead of launching a “perfect” directory on day one.
And this is where the community can help.
