Tui Mu Kratha-Mu Chum

Got curious about the prawn fishing thing after watching a video and thought I’d give it a shot. It’s not as easy as it looks—after nearly an hour, I only caught one shrimp, but that was enough to get it grilled up fresh for me. The place isn’t fancy, more open-air with just fans, so expect some noise and a bit of smoke from others grilling nearby. Staff don’t speak much English, but they’re friendly and helped me figure out how to fish properly. Besides the shrimp, I also tried their BBQ dishes which were tasty and priced fairly. Heads up if you come around dinner time—there’s usually a wait, and food can take a while to arrive. Overall, a fun local experience that’s different from your usual Bangkok dining spots.

The grill restaurant is a popular spot in the area, but it can get crowded so it's best to go early. The pork set and sauce are absolutely delicious, but sometimes it can be hard to get the attention of the staff. The atmosphere is nice with electric fans, but the music might not be to everyone's liking.

Even though they're many queues on dinner time, it doesn't feel crowded. The queue runs fast and staff are willing to serve. Food is great, especially the sauce.

I love the local vibe of this restaurant, with many locals coming in to eat. Enjoying some summer breeze and beer here is the perfect way to unwind.

The hot pot and soup experience at this restaurant was fantastic. Great service and atmosphere, with reasonable prices. Definitely worth a visit.
