Asoke’s new SWU Night Market open every Friday evening

I absolutely loved the Friday night market! It’s packed with all the stalls you’d expect from a good night market, and the live bands on the university lawn are a fantastic touch. You can grab some food and just chill out listening to music. It’s such a great vibe.

This place is perfect if you’re into local night markets. It’s mostly university students hanging out, eating, and enjoying live music on the lawn. The atmosphere is super relaxing and the student bands perform to raise funds, which is really cool. It's not your typical tourist spot, but you’ll get a real taste of local life and the energetic vibe of SWU.

The weekly market on Fridays is small but offers so much variety in food. You can get fresh seafood, meats, vegetables, and fruits cooked in so many different ways – BBQ, fried, steamed, you name it. There aren't any official tables, but there are plenty of spots in the nearby park to sit and enjoy your meal. Perfect if you don't mind a bit of a picnic feel.

The market opens on Friday nights, but not all Fridays. When it's open it's very lively with student performances on the stage and plenty of food stalls to choose from.

If you are more into local night market this is the place to go. Most customers are university students.
