What a fantastic spot! The view of the city with the bright red ambiance is a must-see. Located on the 18th floor of Ramada, it's a great escape from the crowded club scene. Loved their unique cocktails and the soft music vibe. Definitely going back!

Monkey Pod
Garden Bar Cocktail & Tapas
Sat 16:00-00:00
A Cozy Garden Oasis with Great Drinks and Atmosphere
Cool outdoor space for dining with great food and atmosphere. It’s located at the top of Soi 13, just around the corner from Soi 11. It’s only open for dinner, so pick a calm, cool night to avoid any weather-related dining adventures. It's great for large groups, though it can be a bit pricey. They provide mosquito spray at the table, which is definitely needed.

Climax
Ambassador Hotel
Climax is a great comeback for long-time visitors of Bangkok's nightlife scene. Located in its original spot at the Ambassador Hotel, it feels like stepping back in time with the same tables, live music, and vibrant atmosphere. Entry is 300 baht and includes a free drink, making it a worthwhile addition to your night out on Sukhumvit Soi 11.
My 5 favorite live music bars in Bangkok: The bar, which reopened in 2024, is officially called a nightclub although it is IMO primarily a live music bar. Nationally known stars of the Thai music scene also perform regularly. The other bars in the Hillary group also have live music every night.

Old German Beerhouse on 13
German

So I stumbled into the Old German Beerhouse for an early brekkie and let me tell you, it was like a calm oasis in the bustling city. The food was top-notch - meatloaf, pretzel, and salad, oh my! The service was a bit sleepy, but hey, at least they were polite. Overall, a solid start to the day!

Book Tours & Skip the Lines
Some of Bangkok’s most visited attractions are best experienced with a guide, especially if you want context, history, and fewer logistics to worry about. GetYourGuide and Klook make it easy to book guided tours and attraction tickets in advance, including options with hotel pickup or fast-track entry. This can save a surprising amount of time on busy days and helps you fit more into your itinerary without rushing from place to place.
