  • Prem Pracha Vana Rak Park

The park has recently opened and, despite the trees still being small, it offers a pleasant atmosphere. In a year or two, it will likely be even more enjoyable as the greenery matures. It's a nice spot for a leisurely visit, with well-labeled trees and a compact yet well-designed layout.

    Suan Luang Rama IX

Largest Park in Bangkok with Stunning Sunset Views

This park offers a wonderful natural experience with vibrant flowers, puddle boating, tortoises, and even monitor lizards. It's also one of the best spots to catch a sunset in Bangkok. There’s bike parking available for 25 Baht, and you can rent a boat for 60 or 120 THB. It's a great place for bird watching and has plenty of activities for kids. However, it gets really hot between 11 AM and 3 PM, so plan your visit accordingly. If you want to enjoy the sunset, rent a boat around 5:30 PM and be there by 5 PM to catch the best views. Some gardens close by 4 PM, and getting a Grab or taxi back can be a bit tricky. Certified guide dogs might be allowed, but I didn't see any during my visit.

    Benchakitti Forest Park

Urban Oasis with Lush Scenery and Serene Waterways

I love running here in the mornings—plenty of space and not crowded. The mix of forest paths, lakes, and elevated skywalks is fantastic. Lots of wildlife too. My only gripe is no skating allowed; a missed opportunity for skaters.

    Bang Krachao

    Urban Oasis Escape

I was completely satisfied with my visit to this park, as the scenery was stunning and the bike riding was enjoyable. Despite being in an urban area, the park gave off a deep forest vibe that was truly magical. Plus, the fact that the park is free to enter and bike rentals were only 80 baht made it a budget-friendly outing that I will definitely do again.

    Wachirabenchathat Park

    Rot Fai Park

Urban Oasis with Tranquil Lakes and Cycling Paths

Rot Fai Park is part of a trio of parks in Bangkok, and it's a favorite among locals for leisure activities. Even though my bird-watching trip here wasn't very successful, I still enjoyed walking around in the hot weather. The park is filled with interesting artworks and is a peaceful spot to escape the city's hustle and bustle. Although it can get crowded, it's a crucial green space for both locals and tourists to breathe, exercise, or simply relax.
