One such gem is Suan Luang Rama IX Park, a vast expanse filled with beautiful trees, alleys, gardens, bridges, and a serene lake, perfect for walking, exercising, or simply relaxing. Another popular spot is Lumphini Park, a 142-acre retreat featuring jogging paths, playgrounds, and an artificial lake. Visitors love its central location and the chance to spot wildlife coexisting with people.

If you're looking for a romantic evening stroll, Benchakitti Forest Park is the place to be. The elevated sidewalk lit up at sunset creates a magical atmosphere, making it an ideal spot for a date. For those wanting to explore more natural beauty, Bang Krachao, known as the "green lung" of Bangkok, offers lush greenery and tranquil surroundings just a short boat ride away. Lastly, for cycling enthusiasts, the Happy and Healthy Bike Lane provides 24km of great views, soft curves, and top biking equipment for rent, all while you marvel at airplanes taking off and landing.

    Wachirabenchathat Park

    Rot Fai Park

Urban Oasis with Tranquil Lakes and Cycling Paths

Rot Fai Park is part of a trio of parks in Bangkok, and it's a favorite among locals for leisure activities. Even though my bird-watching trip here wasn't very successful, I still enjoyed walking around in the hot weather. The park is filled with interesting artworks and is a peaceful spot to escape the city's hustle and bustle. Although it can get crowded, it's a crucial green space for both locals and tourists to breathe, exercise, or simply relax.
