Stacked and Loaded is a must-visit for anyone yearning for authentic sub sandwiches in Bangkok. The hoagie bread is a game-changer, and the subs are generously filled, making them a perfect fix for anyone missing the flavors of home. With an extensive menu of customizable options and some of the best-priced bottled beers in the area, this spot on Sukhumvit Soi 6 has quickly become my regular go-to for a taste of back home.
During my visit to Rongros, the quality of the food truly stood out—each dish was a masterpiece of authentic flavors and presentation. The staff's warm hospitality made the experience even more enjoyable, creating a welcoming environment. Although the restaurant isn't very spacious, it comfortably accommodates guests, and the view of the river and passing boats is delightful. A little more attention to the restroom cleanliness would be appreciated, but overall, it was a fantastic visit. Looking forward to returning!
We frequented MoMo Samsen five times during our Bangkok stay, thanks to their delicious vegan and vegetarian options. The mango sticky rice and fruit smoothies are must-tries. The staff's attentiveness and friendliness make dining here a pleasure, and it's a place we love returning to.

Bangkok has several excellent Irish pubs with authentic atmosphere and great decor. My Top 5...
A visit to Sri Trat is a delightful culinary journey with an impressive array of dishes. The crab omelette, filled with generous chunks of fresh crab meat, and the tender fried squid stood out. The grilled mushrooms, paired with a special sauce, and the sweet and spicy pork brought nostalgic flavors to the table. Each dish was well-prepared and appetizing, making it ideal for group dining to savor a variety of flavors together.
I’ve been a fan of the Ari branch, but the Thonglor location impressed me with its inviting, at-home vibe. The food never disappoints, with the fish yellow curry, egg-pork stew, kua kling, and stir-fried bai liang with eggs being my usual favorites. The spice level is moderate, catering well to Bangkok's audience. Although the dining space is small, the ambiance makes up for it. I recommend reserving a table in advance due to the limited seating. The only downside is the price, which I find a bit steep for the portion sizes.
