Go on a guided walking tour of Bangkok’s must-see temples, Wat Pho and Wat Arun. See the famous Buddha statue at Wat Pho and the majestic Wat Arun, locally known as Wat Chaeng.
Visiting the Temple of Reclining Buddha at 8AM allowed me to enjoy minimal crowds and capture great photos of this stunningly beautiful temple. The entry fee for foreigners is 300 THB, but it is definitely worth it for the 1-2 hours you can spend exploring the grounds and admiring the architecture. Pair your visit with a trip to the royal palace or Wat Arun for a full day of cultural exploration.
The Temple of Reclining Buddha offers a serene and enriching experience away from the bustling crowds of other popular temples in
Beautiful temples and very famous for Reclining Buddhas. The location is close to the Grand Palace so it can be reached on foot. Ticket prices for 200 Baht include mineral water

Wikipedia Wat Pho
Wat Pho (Thai: วัดโพธิ์, pronounced [wát pʰōː] ), also spelled Wat Po, is a Buddhist temple complex in the Phra Nakhon District, Bangkok, Thailand. It is on Rattanakosin Island, directly south of the Grand Palace. Known also as the Temple of the Reclining Buddha, its official name is Wat Phra Chetuphon Wimon Mangkhalaram Rajwaramahawihan (Thai: วัดพระเชตุพนวิมลมังคลารามราชวรมหาวิหาร; pronounced [wát pʰráʔ tɕʰê:t.tù.pʰon wíʔ.mon.maŋ.kʰlaː.raːm râːt.tɕʰá.wɔː.ráʔ.má.hǎː.wíʔ.hǎːn]). The more commonly known name, Wat Pho, is a contraction of its older name, Wat Photaram (Thai: วัดโพธาราม; RTGS: Wat Photharam).
The temple is first on the list of six temples in Thailand classed as the highest grade of the first-class royal temples. It is associated with King Rama I who rebuilt the temple complex on an earlier temple site. It became his main temple and is where some of his ashes are enshrined. The temple was later expanded and extensively renovated by Rama III. The temple complex houses the largest collection of Buddha images in Thailand, including a 46 m long huge reclining Buddha. The temple is considered the earliest centre for public education in Thailand, and the illustrations and inscriptions placed in the temple for public instructions has been recognised by UNESCO in its Memory of the World Programme. It houses a school of Thai medicine, and is also known as the birthplace of traditional Thai massage which is still taught and practiced at the temple.

While the climb up the stairs to reach the restaurant may be challenging for some, the view of Wat Arun and the river from the 5th level is truly breathtaking. The food was delicious, but be prepared for a bit of a wait as the place tends to get crowded. Overall, a nice restaurant with a fantastic view.

Rongros 55 Restaurants we like
During my visit to Rongros, the quality of the food truly stood out—each dish was a masterpiece of authentic flavors and presentation. The staff's warm hospitality made the experience even more enjoyable, creating a welcoming environment. Although the restaurant isn't very spacious, it comfortably accommodates guests, and the view of the river and passing boats is delightful. A little more attention to the restroom cleanliness would be appreciated, but overall, it was a fantastic visit. Looking forward to returning!
