    Wat Paknam Phasi Charoen

    Big Buddha

    Serene Beauty and Cultural Richness

I had a pleasant evening visit to the temple, which was unexpectedly free at that time. While the main temple and inner rooms were closed, the outside area was well-lit and clean. Despite the limited access, I enjoyed the peaceful atmosphere and appreciated the cleanliness of the surroundings. It's definitely worth a visit, especially if you're looking for a serene evening stroll.

    Temple of the Reclining Buddha

I wasn’t expecting Wat Pho to be so huge and packed with cool stuff beyond just the Reclining Buddha — those gold details on the feet seriously blew my mind, but heads up, bring cash for the 300 baht entry and some water ‘cause they don’t have much on site.

    Wat Arun

Majestic Temple with Stunning Sunset Views

I really enjoyed my visit to Wat Arun, especially climbing the central prang for a great view of the Chao Phraya River. The detailed porcelain decorations on the temple were amazing up close, and the peaceful atmosphere made it a special experience even with some crowds around. I would recommend going late afternoon to catch the beautiful light on the temple and avoid the midday heat.

    Wat Phra Kaew

    Sacred Gem of Bangkok

The Grand Palace and the Temple of Emerald Buddha are definitely worth a visit. The attention to detail in the construction of these temples is remarkable. I enjoyed exploring the prayer rooms and outdoor prayer stations. The cultural exchange with people from around the world was enriching. As a Christian, I appreciated the opportunity to respect and learn about another religion. Remember to dress modestly, wear socks as some areas prohibit shoes, and avoid getting a Buddha tattoo.
