Coffee Shops in Hua Hin

Relaxed cafés, specialty coffee, seaside brunch spots, and hidden favorites in Hua Hin.

Home Hua Hin

Hua Hin has quietly become one of Thailand’s most relaxed café destinations. From minimalist specialty coffee shops and cozy garden cafés to beachfront brunch spots and stylish bakeries, the town offers a slower and more laid-back coffee culture than Bangkok.

This guide is not about listing every café with an espresso machine. The focus is on curated places that are actually worth visiting — whether for great coffee, beautiful design, good food, remote work, or simply a relaxing atmosphere near the beach.

From hidden local cafés to modern lifestyle coffee spots, this is a handpicked collection of some of the best coffee shops Hua Hin has to offer.

  • Gingerfire Restaurant

    Exceptional Breakfast and Thai Flavors

The team at Gingerfire really went above and beyond for my mom’s birthday, crafting a lovely private buffet and even surprising us with a hand-drawn card and a birthday song. The food was great, but honestly, the heartfelt service made the night unforgettable. Big thanks to Lalita, Banana, and everyone else who made it so special.

  • The BARN Coffee Lab

    Specialty Coffee Roasters

The cappuccino here might just be the best I’ve had in a while, and the whole place feels like it was made for coffee lovers. The holiday decorations added a nice touch too—really made the visit feel special.

  • Chiffon.Café

I stumbled upon this little gem after lunch and ended up loving every sip of their coffee and every bite of their cakes. The banoffee and lemon pie are standout treats, and I appreciate the eco-friendly touch of serving water in glass cups. It’s a cozy spot with just a few tables but big on flavor and heart.

  • Flowers House

    Breakfast and Brunch

    Charming Garden Brunch Spot

There’s something really charming about eating breakfast surrounded by a garden that feels like someone’s backyard, especially when the food is fresh and the staff are genuinely friendly—though they can get a bit serious if you keep asking for more shade. The Eggs Benedict here are definitely worth a try.

  • MATTO Specialty Coffee and Matcha

Dropped by Matto Specialty Coffee two days straight because their drinks are just that good. The matcha with fresh coconut water? Seriously refreshing and you can tell it’s made with care. Plus, their Thai snacks hit the spot.

  • Café 484

I swing by Café 484 a couple of times a week because their food never disappoints, and that Orange Americano is my go-to pick-me-up. The staff always seem genuinely friendly, and the place is spotless. Wish they had decaf though—one cup is all I can handle without stressing my blood pressure.

The barista took his time brewing my pour-over with a special Thai bean, and honestly, it was the best cup I’ve had in Thailand. Plus, the laid-back atmosphere makes it a nice spot to just kick back and enjoy the moment.

  • V & G Koff

Just swung by this cozy spot near Soi 88 and was pleasantly surprised by the chill vibe and decent prices—110 baht for Earl Grey and a blueberry muffin felt like a steal compared to other places around Hua Hin. The jazz tunes set a nice mood without drowning out conversation, and the handmade clothes scattered around gave it a quirky touch. Definitely a place I’ll be back to.

  • Treeoh!

    Curiosity Craft Cafe

    08:00-17:00

Had one of the best dairy-free coconut coffees here, paired with a fluffy gluten- and dairy-free waffle that Nat made. Big shoutout to Tim and Nat for making this little cafe feel so welcoming—it’s a gem in Hua Hin.

The vibe here is super chill, perfect for a casual hangout or even a quick work session. The Hokkaido strawberry dessert was a standout, but I’m already curious to try more next time. Plus, the staff were friendly and the place stays open late, which is a bonus.
