If you hate waiting around in hot weather, this place might test your patience. We spent nearly five hours on the course because of overcrowding, which was frustrating when it was already blazing hot. Beautiful scenery doesn’t make up for slow play when you’re stuck behind three groups on one hole.

Springfield felt like a fair challenge for everyone in our group—from beginners to seasoned players. The fairways were well-kept and the greens reliable, though it’s not exactly luxury-level. Just plan your transport since it’s a little out of town, but once you’re there, it’s peaceful and easygoing.

The course isn’t the longest or the fanciest in Hua Hin, but it’s got a clever design that keeps things interesting. Greens could use a bit more grass coverage, but the friendly caddies made hanging out on the course enjoyable. It’s a good option if you want a fun round without breaking the bank.

Played here with my wife for the first time in Thailand and honestly, the course lived up to the hype. The greens were quick, the layout was beautiful, and our caddies really knew their stuff, which made a big difference in our game. We did have to wait behind other groups, but overall, a solid experience that I’d happily repeat.
