Rommani Nart Park · Reviews
Stopped by for a quick break and was really surprised by how peaceful and green it was, plus those squirrels darting up the trees made me smile—perfect little escape from city noise.
Pascal (2026)Rommani Nart Park is a nicely maintained space in a quieter section of Bangkok. It has a gym, sport playground, and is close to the MRT SamYot. The park is great for lounging in the shade, strolling, or watching football games. Street vendors and several small restaurants on the south side of the park offer convenient dining options, making it a pleasant escape from the hustle and bustle of areas like Yaowarat, Sukhumvit, or Khao San Rd.
Somyot (2025)I recently visited Rommani Nart Park, which is a unique spot that used to be an old prison. It features two remaining watch towers and a block of cells. Though most of the jail structures have been demolished, the park still offers a glimpse into its past. The park is compact with pretty fountains, a small pond, and a free public gym, although the equipment is quite old and rusty. There's also a small kiosk at the entrance selling water and snacks. Worth a visit if you're nearby and interested in historical transformations.
