During my visit to Rongros, the quality of the food truly stood out—each dish was a masterpiece of authentic flavors and presentation. The staff's warm hospitality made the experience even more enjoyable, creating a welcoming environment. Although the restaurant isn't very spacious, it comfortably accommodates guests, and the view of the river and passing boats is delightful. A little more attention to the restroom cleanliness would be appreciated, but overall, it was a fantastic visit. Looking forward to returning!
I recently dined at DooNam 1608 and it was truly a hidden gem by the river. The food was delicious and the service was top-notch. The view of the river was absolutely beautiful and made the dining experience even more special. I highly recommend stopping by this place when in Bangkok.
Dom's best places list: Next to SamSara but more expensive. Good food and view over the river.
Located on the banks of the Chao Phraya River, Thaitae provides a lovely view of the Terminal 21 shopping mall and boasts a chill vibe. Although it can get quite busy on weekends, the service remains impressively swift. The atmosphere is delightful, and the variety of flavors in their dishes is sure to satisfy any craving.
The food and drinks menu at Horsamut is impressive, especially the Thai dishes which are spot-on. Booking in advance is recommended, with 5pm and 7pm slots available. The 5pm slot offers a less crowded experience and a stunning sunset view. There are various seating options including outdoor, indoor, and a rooftop bar, although parking is limited.
The Chit Hole Royal River offers a fantastic selection of craft beers, perfect for any local craft beer lover. Despite being a bit on the expensive side, the prices reflect the standard for quality craft beers in Bangkok. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable, always ready to recommend the perfect beer for you. The vibe is enhanced by the beautiful backdrop of the Chaophraya River and the Thon Buri Bridge, making it a memorable experience.
The rooftop restaurant at this hotel is truly a hidden gem. The views are incredible, the staff is friendly, and they serve the best chicken wings in Bangkok! I highly recommend visiting for the unbelievable sunsets alone.
Spectacular Views and Chill Vibes at Eagle Nest Bar
With its great views of Wat Arun and the sunset, the Eagle Nest Bar is a must-visit. While prices may be higher than usual, arriving early ensures a good table to enjoy the picturesque setting.
While the climb up the stairs to reach the restaurant may be challenging for some, the view of Wat Arun and the river from the 5th level is truly breathtaking. The food was delicious, but be prepared for a bit of a wait as the place tends to get crowded. Overall, a nice restaurant with a fantastic view.
A visit to this establishment is a must for anyone looking to enjoy a memorable dining experience with a view. The ambiance is laid-back yet sophisticated, making it an ideal spot for catching up with friends or enjoying a romantic evening. I particularly enjoyed the pork appetizer and would happily return for another round of cocktails and river views.
The view of Wat Arun from The Deck by Arun Residence is truly stunning. The cashew chicken dish was delicious and had the perfect mix of chicken and vegetables. The cherry temple drink was a highlight, and the staff were accommodating in allowing photos from the upper deck.
