Located on the banks of the Chao Phraya River, Thaitae provides a lovely view of the Terminal 21 shopping mall and boasts a chill vibe. Although it can get quite busy on weekends, the service remains impressively swift. The atmosphere is delightful, and the variety of flavors in their dishes is sure to satisfy any craving.
During my visit to Rongros, the quality of the food truly stood out—each dish was a masterpiece of authentic flavors and presentation. The staff's warm hospitality made the experience even more enjoyable, creating a welcoming environment. Although the restaurant isn't very spacious, it comfortably accommodates guests, and the view of the river and passing boats is delightful. A little more attention to the restroom cleanliness would be appreciated, but overall, it was a fantastic visit. Looking forward to returning!
The riverside cafe is a hidden gem with a stunning atmosphere and great views of the river. The open-air area by the water allows you to enjoy the breeze and watch the cruise ships go by, while the courtyard is filled with lush greenery and live performances. The old house area with unique tree roots integrated into the walls adds to the charm of the place. The coffee is refreshing and highly recommended for a relaxing experience.
I recently dined at DooNam 1608 and it was truly a hidden gem by the river. The food was delicious and the service was top-notch. The view of the river was absolutely beautiful and made the dining experience even more special. I highly recommend stopping by this place when in Bangkok.
Dom's best places list: Next to SamSara but more expensive. Good food and view over the river.
Dinner at Horsamut was a delightful experience. The service was super nice, and the food quality was excellent. The cocktails and wine offerings are quite nice, and the view is simply beautiful.
The rooftop restaurant at this hotel is truly a hidden gem. The views are incredible, the staff is friendly, and they serve the best chicken wings in Bangkok! I highly recommend visiting for the unbelievable sunsets alone.
Accessed through The Royal River Hotel, this cozy bar provides a great atmosphere with a live band playing relaxing Thai music. The prime beef is exceptionally tender, and the food selection overall is satisfying. The beer prices are reasonable considering the quality, and the staff's friendliness makes it even better. You can also order food from the hotel, adding to the convenience and enjoyment of your visit.
While the climb up the stairs to reach the restaurant may be challenging for some, the view of Wat Arun and the river from the 5th level is truly breathtaking. The food was delicious, but be prepared for a bit of a wait as the place tends to get crowded. Overall, a nice restaurant with a fantastic view.
A rooftop oasis in Bangkok! Stunning views, attentive service, and a diverse menu. The chicken tempura is a must-try appetizer. Pricey but worth it for a special night out.
Visiting this cafe is a unique experience, as you have to park along an alley and walk through the trees to get there. The chillax atmosphere and open-air seating area overlooking the river make it a perfect spot for a relaxing meal.
Dom's best places list: Cozy coffee place by the river with some food options. Closes in the late afternoon.
