While Thaitae has a nice riverside atmosphere, there's room for improvement in management. Some dishes take a while to arrive, and ingredient quality can vary. However, the stunning location and pleasant ambiance make it a worthwhile visit, especially if seeking a local Thai dining experience.
During my visit to Rongros, the quality of the food truly stood out—each dish was a masterpiece of authentic flavors and presentation. The staff's warm hospitality made the experience even more enjoyable, creating a welcoming environment. Although the restaurant isn't very spacious, it comfortably accommodates guests, and the view of the river and passing boats is delightful. A little more attention to the restroom cleanliness would be appreciated, but overall, it was a fantastic visit. Looking forward to returning!
The cafe is a fantastic spot with magnificent antiques and a gorgeous view of the river. The drinks are delicious and the perfect accompaniment to any meal or occasion. Whether it's for breakfast, lunch, sunset, or a late dinner, this place has it all. The mix of indoor and outdoor spaces offers a variety of options for guests to enjoy the beauty of the location.
DooNam 1608 is a must-visit restaurant in Bangkok. The ambience by the river is fantastic and the food is cooked to perfection. The staff is friendly and accommodating, making the overall experience a memorable one. Don't be put off by the unique entrance - once inside, you'll be rewarded with great food and a lovely atmosphere.
Dom's best places list: Next to SamSara but more expensive. Good food and view over the river.
The food and drinks menu at Horsamut is impressive, especially the Thai dishes which are spot-on. Booking in advance is recommended, with 5pm and 7pm slots available. The 5pm slot offers a less crowded experience and a stunning sunset view. There are various seating options including outdoor, indoor, and a rooftop bar, although parking is limited.
Accessed through The Royal River Hotel, this cozy bar provides a great atmosphere with a live band playing relaxing Thai music. The prime beef is exceptionally tender, and the food selection overall is satisfying. The beer prices are reasonable considering the quality, and the staff's friendliness makes it even better. You can also order food from the hotel, adding to the convenience and enjoyment of your visit.
To view Wat Arun from other side of river, this is of of the best place. Quiet expensive but still worthy to visit if want to see a beautiful view of Wat Arun.
A rooftop oasis in Bangkok! Stunning views, attentive service, and a diverse menu. The chicken tempura is a must-try appetizer. Pricey but worth it for a special night out.
The view of Wat Arun from The Deck by Arun Residence is truly stunning. The cashew chicken dish was delicious and had the perfect mix of chicken and vegetables. The cherry temple drink was a highlight, and the staff were accommodating in allowing photos from the upper deck.
