I am a big fan of Isaan food, so I had high expectations for Som Tam Jay So. The smoked chicken wings, Beef Namtok, and Lard Pla Duk exceeded my expectations and were some of the best dishes I've had in Bangkok. The lack of air conditioning made it a bit warm, but the delicious food and affordable prices more than made up for it. I highly recommend trying this place for an authentic Isaan food experience.

Som Tam Jay So offers a wide variety of salads, with the grilled chicken being a standout dish. While the som tam may not be the best in Bangkok, the grilled dishes are definitely worth trying, especially the grilled pork neck. The seafood som tam was also tasty with fresh ingredients. The restaurant starts to get busy around lunchtime, so be sure to arrive early to avoid the crowds and enjoy your meal promptly.

One of the best eating experiences of my life. Som tam, larb and chicken wings all beyond delicious.
