Charming Canal-side Eatery with Delicious Food
A charming local spot for lunch surrounded by nature and a lovely canal. The food was great, but finding a parking spot was a bit of a challenge. Note that it's not accessible by public transport.

Nose to tail and farm to table concept. This place brings steak and isaan cuisine together. The flavours are so impressive, I wouldn’t have expected such strong flavours like plara (fermented fish) in this type of restaurant, love it.

Baan Suan Sathon
A Tranquil Oasis with Authentic Thai Flavors
Baan Suan Sathon provides a picturesque atmosphere with a nice selection of red wines, though limited white wine options. The prices are on the higher side, but the ambiance, complete with live music, makes it worthwhile. The duck laab pizza was tasty, though it could have been served warmer. The attentive servers added to the pleasant experience.

Northern Thai Flavors Centered on Broth
I keep coming back here because the broth really hits the spot—it’s just right, not too thick or thin, with a nice depth of flavor. The tender beef in the khao soi is a big plus, and I love pairing it with their crab roe paste and sticky rice for a full-on flavor punch. The place feels polished but still welcoming, with friendly staff who speak good English and a menu that’s easy to navigate even if you’re new to northern Thai food. Prices are a bit on the high side compared to other spots, but honestly, it’s worth it for the consistent quality and fast service. Great spot if you want something reliable and tasty in Ari.

Casual Spot for Grilled Chicken
The grilled fish here was the standout for me—crispy skin, plenty of veggies on top, and a good squeeze of lime made it something special. The stir-fried noodles had a nice kick and weren’t greasy at all. We sat outside with some beers, which suited the laid-back vibe perfectly. One thing I noticed though, the papaya salad was sweeter than I expected, even after asking to hold back on the sugar. Still, for fresh seafood and decent prices in Ekkamai, it’s worth a visit. The aircon could be stronger but honestly, that didn’t spoil the meal.

Kope Hya Tai Kee
Mon 07:00-20:00
Classic Thai Breakfast Flavors
I had brunch at Kope Hya Tai Kee and the service was impressively quick. The Thai Tea, with less sugar, was a highlight for me. However, I wasn't a fan of the sweet Lap Ciong in my dish. Overall, a decent spot but choose your dishes wisely.
