Reviews Somboon Seafood
Somboon Seafood, the first of its kind in Bangkok, has been delighting customers for over 20 years. The restaurant offers a unique twist on traditional Chinese dishes by incorporating Thai flavors, particularly their spicy seafood selections. The attentive and friendly staff enhance the dining experience, making it a place worth returning to.
We had an incredible dining experience at Somboon Seafood, and even my picky-eating parents were impressed. The crab curry was delicious, and the morning glory in garlic was fresh and crunchy. As the original branch, it holds a special charm, and we're already planning our next visit when we're back in Thailand.
Somboon Seafood is a must-visit for anyone craving a blend of Chinese and Thai cuisine. The curry crab is a standout dish, perfectly capturing the fusion of flavors, and the seafood is exceptionally fresh and clean. Don't miss out on the Don-yam-gon soup, a delightful addition to any meal.
The reviews come from gurulist.net and various other platforms. We aim to highlight the positive aspects of each location, but we also note minor flaws. Keep in mind that reviews reflect personal opinions — what one person may not like, another might love.

The Khao Soi here is good, featuring well-cooked noodles and a flavorful curry, though it lacks the authenticity and spice of Chiang Mai's original version. The toppings are somewhat basic, making it a decent meal, but there are better options available elsewhere.

Kampang
Banthat Thong Restaurants
Visited Kampang on a weekday evening around 5pm, and while there were some tables available, it's clear this place is popular, so reservations are recommended. The grilled chicken was tasty but a bit tricky to eat as the meat stuck to the bone. The meat dishes, though flavorful, were a tad chewy. The vanilla jasmine lemon tea wasn't to my liking. Prices are on the higher side, and the staff seemed a bit slow in responding to customers.
