I had a fantastic time at P.J O'Brien's on a Monday night with their musical bingo and delicious pizza, especially the Pepperoni. The cozy booths and 2 for 1 beers during happy hour added to the experience. It's a lovely, inviting Irish bar that offers a great evening out with friends.

The Blarney Stone
08:00-02:00
Irish Pub with Live Fiddle Music
I discovered The Blarney Stone on my first visit to Bangkok and it quickly became my favorite spot on Soi 4. Despite the hectic surroundings, this charming Irish bar offers a peaceful escape with its fantastic staff, delicious beers, and tasty food. The happy hour deals and 5 for 500 baht on bottles make it even more appealing. Special shoutout to Amy, Bee, and Ping for their warm hospitality, and to Eoin, the owner, for his genuine friendliness. Even after multiple trips to Thailand, this bar remains my go-to destination, and I can't wait to return.

The sausage rolls here totally hit the spot, especially if you ask them to crisp ’em up a bit more—plus the staff are super friendly and make you feel right at home.

O'Shea's Irish Pub
Sports Bar, Hotel & Rooftop
extensive sports coverage, irish breakfast deal, happy hour daily, rooftop seating
07:00-01:00
Sporty Vibes and Rooftop Retreat
This pub is a wonderful spot for breakfast in Bangkok, serving a full British-style meal that truly impresses. The sausages, in particular, are a standout feature, making the visit worthwhile. While I didn't stay at the hotel, the breakfast alone is worth recommending.
My Top 5 Irish Pubs in Bangkok: The pub is located in Sukhumvit Soi 33/1. Sometimes they have live bands. I like the outdoor bar area and the rooftop terrace. Nice, friendly staff. The pub is particularly popular with expats.

Mulligans Irish Bar
Fri 17:00-02:30
Lively Spot for Beer and Music
During my vacation in Bangkok, I found Mulligans to be an excellent spot by local standards. The food and drinks, including Guinness, were impressive. Smoking is allowed at the bar, a contrast from back home in New York. While enjoying the lively scene, it's wise to stay responsible as the area can be a bit sketchy at times.
My Top 5 Irish Pubs in Bangkok: It's a recently renovated, spacious bar with a very nice outdoor terrace on Khao San Road. They serve cold Chang beer and have live bands daily. My regular pub in the Khao San/Rambuttri area!

Scruffy Murphy's Irish Pub
11:30-00:00
Traditional Irish Pub Atmosphere
The Sunday beef roast at Scruffy Murphy's is a hearty serving, perfect for sharing. While the beef was served at room temperature, the mashed potatoes were hot and the overall taste was good. It's a substantial meal, though perhaps not extraordinary, but satisfying nonetheless.
My Top 5 Irish Pubs in Bangkok: It's an authentic ☘️ Irish pub with live music several days a week that broadcasts major sporting events on HD screens. There is indoor and outdoor seating and a pool table upstairs. It is the successor to the popular Victoria Pub. Scruffy's serves Western and Thai dishes. I like their Larb Moo Tod. I personally like the small outdoor patio.

Sports Hub with Generous Portions
I popped in to catch a game and ended up loving their huge screens and friendly staff—plus, the potato skins were way better than I expected. Definitely coming back for more good food and chill vibes!
My Top 5 Sports Bars in Bangkok's Lower Sukhumvit Area: It is a relatively large bar with space for plenty of people, even when there are special sporting events. The prices are average but the food is above average. The staff is friendly. I really like the outdoor terrace. You can also watch sports on many screens there.

My Top 5 Sports Bars in Bangkok's Lower Sukhumvit Area: I really like the successor to the Sports Corner bar in Sukhumvit Soi 20. You don't even have to be afraid of the toilets anymore. Lots of screens and friendly staff round off the positive impression.

The breakfast here totally won me over—best bacon and sausage I’ve had in a while, plus their orange juice is next level. The vibe’s pretty chill too, especially if you hit the café side when it’s quiet.

Corner
Fri 17:00-00:00
Relaxed Spot for People Watching
Corner is a fantastic spot to unwind without the pressure to constantly buy drinks. The staff is incredibly friendly, making you feel like part of the family. The drinks are reasonably priced, and their fruit punch mixed with Hennessey is a must-try. The bar's location adds to its charm, and the live music from across the road enhances the lively atmosphere. Nokky, Ann, and the rest of the team are always up for a chat, ensuring you have a great time with cold beers ready at hand.
