Tried JHOL on a whim after hearing about their coastal Indian dishes and honestly, it was a cool surprise. The Pani Puri was a highlight—such a fun burst of flavor with that unexpected avocado and passion fruit twist. Some plates were definitely spicy, which I appreciated, but good to know they’re quick to balance things out if needed. The staff felt genuinely warm and attentive without being overbearing. The place itself has this nice mix of vintage and modern vibes that made sitting down there feel special. Parking’s not super straightforward but they do stamp your ticket if you park at the nearby hotel, which helped. Not the cheapest spot, but for something this thoughtfully done, I’d say worth it. Definitely planning to come back to try more of their menu next time.

Our group of 20 thoroughly enjoyed each course, with dishes that were both flavorful and beautifully presented. The cozy ambience and good lighting added to the overall charm of the place. The staff was incredibly accommodating, even when we needed to add an extra person to our reservation. From the seamless booking process to the end of our dinner, everything was handled with ease. This restaurant is perfect for a fun night out with friends or a romantic date night.

Dining alone at JHOL Coastal Indian Cuisine was an excellent experience. The staff greeted me warmly and provided detailed explanations of the menu. Opting for the tasting menu and adding two extra dishes was a decision I didn't regret, as everything was exceptional. The mushroom soup was legendary, and the signature chicken dish was phenomenal. Each dish was well-balanced with the right amount of spice, and the curry left me speechless. The chef even took time to chat, making the experience even more memorable. This was an exciting taste journey complemented by excellent hospitality.

Although I typically don't favor Indian cuisine, JHOL Coastal Indian Cuisine has changed my perspective. The service was impeccable, with staff members attentive to every detail, even opening the door for me. An iPad with photos of the food enhanced the dining experience. The dishes were perfectly cooked and visually appealing. Having visited twice now, each experience has been consistently impressive, and I always leave satisfied.
