    Kor Panich

    Sweet Sticky Rice

    Delicious Mango Sticky Rice

I absolutely loved the mango sticky rice at this place! The rice was rich and salty, complemented perfectly by the sweet mango. Despite finding it a bit too sweet for my taste, my companions couldn't get enough of it. The portion size was decent for the price, and the flavors were unmatched by other options in the city.

    Doy Kuay Teow Reua

    Boat Noodles

    Authentic and Affordable Boat Noodles

If you're in Bangkok, this place is a must-visit for authentic boat noodles. I got there early in the morning and ordered a variety of noodle bowls. They were quick to serve, and the portions were generous with beef. The flavors were spot on, and the spice level was just right, especially for someone who doesn't handle spicy food well. Highly recommend the glass noodles, flat noodles, and egg noodles with beef in boat noodle soup. Would definitely come back on my next trip to Bangkok.

Iconic Beef Noodle Shop with Delicious Stewed Beef and Hotpot

I had the best stewed beef of my life at Nai Tor Beef Noodle! This place has been around since the 60s and it shows in their perfected recipes. The recent renovations are a nice touch. Long queues on weekends, but they have shady seating and slushies to make the wait easier.

    Sanguan Sri

    Old School Thai Restaurant

    Sat 09:00-15:00

This modest eatery on Witthayu Road has earned its Michelin Bib Gourmand status with a focus on homemade Thai cuisine. The daily specials keep things fresh, and the red curry duck is a highlight, although some may find the duck gristly. The oyster omelette and shrimp dishes are superb, while the Tom Yum soup may lack flavor for some tastes. The restaurant is air-conditioned and frequented by locals, offering a comfortable and authentic dining experience. Note that cash is the only accepted payment method, and while English is limited, the picture menu is helpful for non-Thai speakers.

The long-standing tradition of cooking the soup in the same pot for 50 years truly adds to the authenticity and taste of the dish. The atmosphere was bustling with locals and tourists alike, a testament to the popularity of this restaurant. The small portion of beef noodles was satisfying, and at only 130 baht, it was a great value for the quality of food you receive.
