Stumbling upon Acqua when another restaurant was closed turned into an unexpected delight. The smoked eel and lamb ragout were both exceptional, affirming Acqua as possibly the best Italian restaurant in Bangkok. The flavors and quality of the dishes were truly impressive.

I had a delightful late dinner at Acqua without a reservation and was pleasantly surprised by the warm welcome and seamless service. Opting for the tasting menu, the dishes were exquisite, with a particularly well-curated wine pairing. However, the house's signature pork dish was a letdown, as it was tough and lacked crispy skin. The playful dessert featuring a music box added a unique touch to the meal, making it an almost perfect dining experience.
