From a poetic arrangement of sea urchin bibimbap to Korean’s prized barbecued galbi, Juksunchae creates a narrative that stirs and satisfies expectations.
Having worked as a chef for over 40 years, Juksunchae was my first Korean fine dining experience and it was outstanding. The quality of ingredients like the dry-aged African pompano and organic duck was superb. Each dish, from the lotus root to the egg custard with French caviar, was perfectly balanced. Service was top-notch, with Chef Henry's passion shining through. A couple of minor improvements could be made, but overall, it was a superb experience that I highly recommend.
For my first Korean fine dining encounter, Juksunchae exceeded expectations with its modern interpretations of traditional dishes. The precision in execution was evident, leaving me pleasantly full. The standout dishes like Hwe, Bibimbap, and Octopus Tubu Jjigae, all paired beautifully with the wine selection. Chef Henry's attention to detail and the cozy atmosphere, complete with an open kitchen, made the experience even more enriching.
Juksunchae offers an unforgettable Korean fine dining experience in Bangkok, with Chef Henry Lee adding a personal touch by explaining every meticulously crafted dish. The new location at Townhall 49 was worth the wait, and the food was exceptional, making it one of my favorite fine dining spots. The sweet wine pairing with dessert was a highlight, adding to an already memorable birthday celebration. I can't stop thinking about their soup!
